New Babylon 1871
New Babylon 1871 was inspired by the 1927 Kozintzev/Trauberg film this work recreated the events of the Paris Commune of 1871.
This staging at The Round Chapel in March 2002, featured a cast of 68, including puppeteers and musicians. The production filled this vast space with the story of a young shop worker as her life intertwined with these momentous events.
