The Last Days of Limehouse

The last Days of Limehouse

A new play by New York based playwright Jeremy Tiang, The Last Days of Limehouse is set in 1958, and focuses on the last days of London’s original Chinatown in Limehouse.

This promenade production staged at the historic Limehouse Town Hall in July & August 2014 took you into the heart of London’s original Chinatown, exploding the lurid myths of opium dens and sinister Chinese gangs, revealing a place that was for generations of people, simply home.

I co-directed with Kumiko Mendl for Yellow Earth.
